Outline Planning Guide This guide will assist you in organizing your thoughts and drafting an outline for your informative/explanatory article. Your annotated bibliography will also be helpful for reference during this process. Step 1: Fill in the following pieces of information and answer the relationship questions. Each of these items are required subtopics in your informative/explanatory article . Topic: 2 nd amendment Landmark Case: McDonald v. City of Chicago Advocate example: Democratic Missouri Senator Candidate Jason Kander Contemporary Case #1: NYSRPA V. NYC Contemporary Case #2: Shew v. Malloy Relationship Questions: Are the subtopics equal in importance? No certain subtopics stick out as far as more important than others but there are some that do not advocate but oppose my topic to give a different view on my topic Are there relationships of time between subtopics? No none of my subtopics are connected in any way Are any subtopics a result of other subtopics?
