Joshua Farrell Marketing Research TR 2:00-3:15 Foreign Currency ATM Evaluate the Research The research seems very solid. I have traveled to Mexico before and have found an ATM that I was very confused with. No one was able to help me understand the Spanish- not even the Spanish workers at the hotel. Whether it was meant to be confusing to capture more profit or not was not conclusive, but there were many guests that were perturbed by the machine after the hotel desk currency exchange had closed. When the non-automated currency exchange was open, I felt as though the exchange rates were very high and seemed to tilt to the extreme advantage of the Mexican side. The operator spoke little English and left me as putty in the hotel’s hands- making my bank account seem unwillingly vulnerable. But I can also understand the counterargument based on the research done. The research shows many flaws that can be corrected given the respondents’ suggestions. Although I felt awkward using the currency exchanging ATM,
