Executive Summary Product/Service A 1,000 mile bicycle ride that raises money for six charities working towards the United Nations Millennium Development Goals by 2015. These eight goals include in order of priority: 1. Eradicate extreme global poverty and hunger 2. Achieve universal primary education 3. Promote gender equality and empower women 4. Reduce child mortality 5. Improve maternal health 6. Combat HIV/Aids, malaria, and other viruses 7. Ensure environmental sustainability 8. Develop a global partnership for development Mission Statement Better Health Care, Access to Education, Women's Empowerment, Emergency Disaster Relief, and Furthering Vaccine Research for AIDS, Tuberculosis & Malaria are five key factors linked to the betterment of the developing world. Therefore, the D.R.E.A.M. Ride's mission is to support well-respected organizations working in these key areas: 1. CARE - Women's Empowerment and Education 2. Partners In Health - HIV/AIDS work in Rwanda 3. Doctors Without Borders - Emergency Disaster Relief 4. Emory Vaccine Center - Vaccine Research for HIV & Malaria 5. International Peace Initiatives - Secondary Education in Kenya 6. The Canaan Foundation - Secondary School Scholarships in Kenya and Cameroon Objective Our objective is to get people motivated to make a difference in the world and raise money to make the world a better place for those less fortunate.
