Discuss the trend in segregation (racial separation) and desegregation (efforts to racially mix or diversify) that has occurred since the 1950s. The trend went in an ovulating pattern first it was unwelcome then people softened up and let it desegregation happen, then when people felt like it wasn’t working they wanted to go back to segregation and it kept going in this pattern until important decisions were made by supreme and lesser courts. 2. What are the reasons given for why schools have become re-segregated (back to racially separated schools)? One reason given was that Court orders have been making them re-segregate because so many people were suing about where their child was going to school. Another reason is many neighborhoods are segregated which causes schools to be segregated. 3.
