Angela Cheng – LC9 PIP Paper: Part I From when I first started my PIP, I have made significant progress in attaining my goal of increasing my amount of exercise. From an initial rate of about 1-2 workouts a week, I have managed to increase that to a regular pattern of about 4 workouts a week. With an optimistic view of the progress I have made thus far, I feel that I can continue this rate of progress toward a healthy level of exercise on a regular basis. As far as challenges I have encountered while trying to achieve my goal, one of the most difficult to overcome would be that of finding motivation to exercise on a regular basis. Sitting around in one’s room makes it very tempting to put off exercising for another day. Another challenge I faced in progressing towards my goals were time constraints, being limited to the gym’s hours of operation, and also by time conflicts with schoolwork. Finally, another obstacle I had to overcome in achieving my goal was finding a suitable workout regimen that was not too strenuous for the frequency I was working out, but was also enough of a workout to be considered exercise. To overcome the challenges I faced in achieving my goal, I kept myself motivated
