However, being that we live in a litigious society it is wise to know what you are getting yourself into before you jump in headfirst. - no means no! - should it end, you two still have to work together - As with any relationship, open and honest communication is key but especially when dating a fellow employee. - Check out the dating policy for your company before asking anyone on a date. - Get to know your colleague before going on a real date. - Agree not to flirt at work and develop open communication about your dual relationship. - Remain open and honest about the topic of sexual harassment with each other. - Depending on your position within the company, you may need to notify your employer
