Feedback is one of the basic concepts of system dynamics. Without understanding the feedback it’s really hard to predict the dynamics of the mental models. In order to analyze the feedback structure of the systems we use various diagraming tools like casual loop diagrams and stock and flow maps. Casual Loop Diagrams: Casual loop diagrams (CLD’s) is a significant tool for representing the feedback systems. They are good for fast capturing of our hypothesis about the causes of dynamics, for extracting and capturing the mental models or teams, reporting the important feedbacks which are useful in understanding the problem. A casual loop diagram consists of various components of the systems connected by arrows denoting the casual influence among the variables by using polarity signs. One of the example of the bad policy by Food Drug Administration (FDA) is the passage of the 1962 Kefauver Harris Amendment. The FDA has introduced this policy to stop releasing a bad drug into a market without doing a proper research. Under the new policy the drugs required proof of efficacy in addition to safety for the approval of new drugs. Proving efficacy is much more costly and time taking process then proving safety. Before implementing the policy, the average time from the filing of a

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
