Art HistoryVisual Comparative Analysis of Kroisos vs. Kritios BoyArt has immensely evolved throughout history and will undoubtedly continue to evolve forgenerations to come. Art can be influenced by a plethora of reasons. Political, social, religious,economic, and natural events are all possible factors that can allow an artist to evolve theirworks. They do this by changing their methods and means of expressing their art. Historicalevents are also a major factor in the evolution of art and inspired many artist to express theirviews on such events. Whether those views were positive or the contrary, it is safe to sayhistorical values played a huge part in the growth of art.We can see this influence in the sculptural works of The Kroisos Kouros and The KritiosBoy. Both of these sculptures are Kouros statues and originated in famous and notable cities inGreece. Kroisos was located in Anavyssos, Greece and functioned as a grave marker of a fallenwarrior.
