Humanities 214 T TH F 1:30 Mrs. Buckle Nicholas and Alexandra I thought this movie was very interesting and informative. They had many people come in and talk about their families and their experience during this time. Nicholas family was very rich and powerful. He had a lot of respect for his soldiers because he would bring him to his house and give them a hug and kiss every year. That shows how much he cared about the people that were protecting his family and his country. The love that he had for Alexandra was like no other, they wrote in dairies about how they felt and what was going on in their lives. He had a great and faithful staff with him because he left his kids with them and also had one of his sailors to take care of his only boy. It must have been hard for the family to start off having three girls when they were in need of a boy to carry out the family name and the father’s position. They did end up having the boy they always wanted and needed but the boy was born with a disease, hemophilia, that could kill him at any moment if he on his head or hit himself to hard. This was definitely hard for the family and the boy because he could never really enjoy being a kid instead he had to be
