Ideas include: Any car safety devices like seatbelts, ABS or bull bars, rollercoaster harnesses or even baseball gloves. Description of assessment An issue is some matter of public concern about which there are several different points of view. This individual task consists of three parts: planning the investigation and gathering and evaluating relevant information, analysing the physics ideas of momentum and alternative views about the issue and drawing a conclusion about the guiding question and presenting a summary of the findings using Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Pa r t A: P l ann i n g (I2, KU2) Source analysis word limit: ~150 words You will be allocated a topic related to the Stage 1 Physics Subject Outline. Individually, under supervision: Identify the key physics ideas and issues relating to the use of momentum in your device. (KU2) formulate a Guiding Question to guide your issues investigation. (For example, “Should bull bars on vehicles be banned in urban areas?”). (KU2) find and provide hardcopies of at least three sources relevant to the guiding question and that provide alternative viewpoints on the issue or phenomenon. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
