Question : because I want to find out what/why/how this event had happened. 3. Significance : in order to help my reader understand how this event played into Korean history and democracy- Where are there contradictions, inconsistencies and incomplete explanations? OPTION TWO : I plan to find oral history and interview material by using the internet and video documentaries available about this event and its causes. I have already watched two documentaries about this tragedy and they both include interviews from survivors and from their survivors children. Prior Knowledge or experience regarding the question: I only found out less than a month ago that this event had taken place in Korean history. It came as a shock to me and I wanted to find out more about it. I found out about this event through watching a documentary....
