According to the Charbonneau and Resh article, how many “Groups” of aquatic macroinvertebrates are currently present in Strawberry Creek? There are twelve groups of aquatic macroinvertebrates currently present in Strawberry Creek. There were thirteen groups of macroinvertebrates before the improvement in water quality. 2a. Which of the orders appears to be most sensitive to improvements in water quality? The orders that appear to be very sensitive to improvements in water quality are the Ephemeroptera, Trichoptera, Pelecypoda orders, 2b. Explain your answer. This is because the number of “x”’s are most different from the “Pre-restoration” column to the “Post- restoration” column.
