2 1.0 Introduction Event organization refers to the process of planning and coordinating activities of an undertaking such as budget planning, scheduling, venue selection, getting licenses, traffic management, arrangement of audio and visual entertainment systems, coordinating security and catering as well as emergency plans (Schmitt, 2014). The primary aim of event planning is to meet the objective that the sponsoring company wants to achieve. According to Allen (2004), such projects include; team building activities, conventions, tradeshows, party, meetings and ceremonies. Event management entails coordinating, organizing and planning of the audience, staffs and other team members and features to create the activity. Event management comprises of identification of the required audience, developing the concept of the activity, supervising the technical aspects, logistics plan and preparation of risk assessment before the launching of the event (Singh, 2010). The paper entails analysis of key operational issues and risks that arises from holding charity party event as either an outdoor event or an indoor event. The venue selected for an outdoor party event is Hyde Park and Kensington great hall is selected for hosting an indoor party event. Key operational issues and risks discussed include, licenses and requirements, health and safety, supply chain management, ethics, CSR and sustainability and risk management 2.0 Outdoor party event held at the Royal Hyde Park Outdoor events are mostly preferred because they attract a large number of people from different regions and different countries in the world (Allen, 2004). They promote tourist attraction and social integration. The venue of the outdoor party event will be Hyde Park. The park provides a wider open space that can accommodate a large number of people than an indoor space. Hyde Park has a capacity of holding an event of about 60000 people therefore, it can
