This preview shows page 1 - 2 out of 2 pages.

1. The Harappan civilization was advanced in many ways. They had running water as well as toilets connected to city wide running water. Trade is believed to have been a part of the civilization due to precious stones from China and south east Asia being there. A main reason of them being vulnerable is the fact that they relied on bronze tipped not swords. Also massive flooding. Some crushed skulls have been found. 2. The geography allowed the people of India to have a great water supply, due to the Indus and Ganges rivers. It also provided them with great farmland. The topography allowed a herding economy to take root. 3. The cate system included a warrior, priestly, trader and farmer, common people, and untouchable’s class. No caste members could marry a member of the other caste. In addition to that, only the three highest castes could read sacred texts. Flexibility included caste positions being moved up and down such as Brahmins rising up the caste system.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
