Diagnosis : NANDA diagnostic label: deficient knowledge Related to: new condition Secondary to: diabetes As evidenced by: expressing frustration over several tasks (Gulanick, & Myers, 2014, p. 116). Plan : Expected outcome- Patient performs desired skills Dependent intervention- Administer insulin shots Independent intervention-Allow patient to practice new skills: provide immediate feedback Interdependent- Collaborate with dietician to assist with instruction about meal plans (Gulanick, 2014, p. 118).
