Lauren Zeinstra Writing/Rhetoric October 1, 2007 Aphorisms Love 1. Truly loving someone is to like them, despite their faults. 2. Love is like math – A simple idea, but oh so complicated. 3. Loving someone is like climbing Everest… It’s a hard climb, and sometimes you feel like heading back to base camp, but by pushing through the hard times, you’ll find something pretty spectacular in the end. Life 4. Life is like a puzzle – the harder it is, the more rewarding the end product. 5. Peace. It does not mean to be in a place without noise, trouble, or hard work; it means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart. 6. Drama is just an attempt to excite your life. 7. Life is one big dance party – you just need to find people with a similar bass line.

Every 60 seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you’ll never get back. 11. The world is your runway. Be fabulous. 12. Only when surrounded by many people does one feel most alone. 13. True friendships are defined not in the moments when everything is shared, but in the times where nothing is said. 14. Sometimes you just need to take life by the butt and shake it. 15. Live in the simple moments, for it is in those times that we learn the most about those around us, and realize the most about ourselves....
