Unformatted text preview: Professor Allen describes the behavior changes of Mongol descendants due to alcohol influences. He suggests few evidences that he has been studying. They were the dialects and the evidence of rice wine transportation to the East Asia. The Mongolians had various kinds of drinking session for multiple purposes. At the end of the lecture, Professor Allen said that Genghis drank kumas and his descendants drank wines. The generation after that drank distilled alcohol beverages. So as time passed the level of alcohol increased and they had tremendous effect on the society. The lecture was very interesting since I never learned history about alcohol and alcoholic beverages. I thought Professor Thomas Allen did a great job supporting his argument and tying them up with different evidences....
