ENVS 1000 POPULATION VIDEO PAPER ASSIGNMENT **DUE FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 29th IN LECTURE** Choose one of the countries (India, Japan or Kenya, but not the US) discussed in the NOVA movie shown in lecture and discuss the following questions: What is the population problem(s) in the country? Include demographic statistics. (3 points) What are the specific underlying factors that are causing the problem (i.e. specific social trends, cultural factors, health issues, etc . )? (3 points) What are the implications of this population problem for the country (i.e. social, environmental, etc.)? (3 points) Your paper should be 2-3 pages, typed, double-spaced, 12-pt font, and stapled.
