Greetings! You're about to embark upon a very exciting fifteen week journey. I hope that you're going to find it exhilarating, a voyage of discovery! But that's not something that I can promise. You alone will determine the quality of your experience -- whether you'll find the Global Business Policies (GBP) course smooth sailing or find yourself clinging to a life raft in the middle of a Perfect Storm. [BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO BLOW ALL THIS OFF AS A PILE OF B/S AND GO ON TO FACEBOOK, YOU SHOULD READ ON. YOU HAVE AN ASSIGNMENT DUE AT THE FIRST CLASS SECTION THIS WEEK. IT’S DISCUSSED BELOW ALONG WITH THE ASSIGNED ATTACHMENTS.] Sorry. One thing almost is certain: the GBP course is different from any other course that you've experienced here at Temple. I try very hard to make the course as close as possible to an on-the-job experience in top management/strategic decision making. I try to make sure that virtually everything that you will encounter in this course will enhance your capabilities both at your job and getting a job. In order to do this, I use a teaching method with which you may not have much experience, The Case Method of Instruction. It requires behavior on your part different from what’s been expected of you previously.

What students are saying

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
