Thesis Wong Kar-wai’s showed originality and had his own style along with his signature of techniques of filming which didn’t change much throughout the film he created. Arguments Wong Kar-Wai is not like any other director in Hong Kong that just strive for high box rate by using popular stars in the industry, his films weren’t commercial. He didn’t have scripts for his shootings, this would bring out a different outcome each time, but since he knew how the story goes, the mood he creates would still be the same. He was also the writer himself, so therefore the process of the story written in script to being film doesn’t loose any of the content. He kept his originality by using the same crew to maintain the quality of his work. His work usually reveals the ending to the audience and then travel back in time with a voice over. This style was used in several of his film that conveys a style of his own. Slow motion was used in a couple of his film in the beginning, he uses camera speed to create
