Test 2: Wednesday, November 21, 2007, 10:30am Rm. 350Test 2 Make-Up: Monday, November 26, 2007, 5:30pm Rm. 207Covers lecture packets on Stellar Evolution & Galaxies and Cosmology Covers textbook units 34, 49 – 51, 53, and 59 – 82 Covers major ideas from discussion/lab 1 hour to complete the test You should bring pencil and 1 note card (5” x 8” note card provided earlier in class) with notes to use during the test Test has 3 sections: people association, multiple choice, and short answer Review Session 1: Monday, November 19, 2007, 5:30pm Rm. 207Optional attendance. We will go as long as people have questions or until 7:30pm, whichever comes first. Bring Questions! Study Strategy: Review Past Quizzes (quiz 6 thru quiz10) Review Lecture Packets oTopic Outlines at beginning of each o3-5 major points per class Review major points from text units oTextbook CD has helpful study tools oTextbook website has online study guide Review major ideas from discussion/lab meetings Then fill in details as you have time Blackboard has copies of all course materials (ex. quizzes, lecture packets) that you may download and print for study purposes Sample Test Questions: Questions on your test will be similar in format to the following questions. There will be three types of questions: People association, multiple choice, and short answer questions.
