A Psychological Outlook on Nursing 2 A Psychological Outlook on Nursing In High School, I took a basic psychology course to fill up my senior year electives, mostly because I thought it was an “easy” class . I enjoyed it, and felt it took my mind in directions most classes avoided; I could actually express my feelings . As a nursing major, I was required to take two psychology classes, and they were two of my favorite classes . About midway through the first semester, I found a course catalog, and I realized I wanted to take basically all psychology classes as electives, and then it dawned on me that I could attain a minor by taking the interesting classes, without struggling through the monotony . As a nursing major, there is plenty of correlation to psychology . Personally, I would like all my classes to pertain, to some extent, to my major . Rather than take
