Reflective journal I have finished service learning in ShiFang, SiChuan Province, which is rich in agaric. We each group have different projects about agaric. And my group’s project is making noodles with agaric. This idea was firstly come up with Gilbert. We all thought it is worth doing research. We all know there are noodles with egg, noodles with spinach and so on. So we think noodles with agaric can be made. On the one hand, agaric is pretty nutritive. For instance, it can lower lipid and blood sugar. On the other hand, agaric taste fragile and refreshing, which may make noodles taste differently. Therefore, we think noodles with agaric can take a large market share because of its healthy and special taste, which can help the local farmers make more money by plenty of agaric they have produced. Then we began to make noodles with agaric and this process is the most enjoyable for me. We have two machines for making noodles. One is manual machine, and another is automatic one (picture 1 in appendix). The first day we decided to make sure which machine is better. After making noodles by manual machine and automatic machine separately, we found that the noodles made by manual machine tasted upshaped, looked ugly although it was easy and efficient to make (picture 2).
