Final Notice 11/26/07 Treatment Concept: Final Notice is the dark drama about a local contractor who preys upon his clients. He chooses jobs where he is the sole contractor and the homeowner is a pretty young female. Baltimore has seen a renaissance in the number of young people purchasing run-down properties, so there is no shortage to choose from in the client pool. We hear the story told through narration of the inner voice of the twisted contractor. Theme: Final Notice is a story about crooked business acts, illicit adultery, and murder. It becomes dark and twisted as we explore the mind of our psychopathic main character. Characters: Ed Schultz: Main character, contractor, and narrator. The story is told through Ed and his inner voice. Ed’s observations come across as omniscient, but it may just be the mind of a psychopath filling in the unknowns about people he comes in contact with.
