Melissa Gautier April 5 th , 2008 Informative Speech How to Live a Healthy Lifestyle Introduction I. “Within each of us lies the power of our consent to health and to sickness, to riches and poverty, to freedom and to slavery. It is we who control these, and not another.” This quote by Richard Bach truly inspired me to live the healthy lifestyle I have today. Think about it, you are in charge of your own destiny. How you live your life is on your hands. The sports you may or may not participate in, the classes you take, the clothes you wear and even the food you eat are all apart of the life you control. II. One important factor of you life that a lot of people tend to overlook is maintaining a healthy lifestyle. III. The purpose of my speech is to inform you how to live a healthy lifestyle. Specifically, I’m going to share with you certain foods you may want to consider or avoid, exercise tips and most importantly some ways to help you relieve stress. Body I. Healthy eating does more than just nourish your body-it enhances your ability to enjoy life to the fullest by improving your overall wellness. A.
