Higher Education for a Better Life People must recognize the importance of education. Many individuals fail to acknowledge the need for knowledge and the significance it has on one’s life. Education is a gateway to better job opportunities and an overall improvement to standards of living. Higher education is becoming more imperative in order to achieve success in the United States of America. Living in an extremely competitive nation, Americans have to realize that receiving a college education is vital in order to be successful in today’s society. But, is education readily available for each American? Lower class Americans have a more difficult time earning a college degree. A number of factors contribute to this harsh reality including, financial difficulties faced by low income household, the lack of academic preparation due to poorly supported school systems, and growing tuitions rates throughout American universities and colleges.
