Sandri Office 448 Office Hours, MWF 10-11am or by appointment Contact Email- Jeffrey.Sandri@Colorado.EDU Course Syllabus Course Description This course is designed to give a general overview of how finance affects everyday society through its markets and institutions. In studying markets we will examine debt, stock, and foreign exchange markets. In studying institutions we will examine banking and other financial intermediaries. Expectations/ Takeaways The purpose of this school and course is to prepare you for your career after graduation. The courses chosen and knowledge taken away can be applied directly to your career and benefit you. This course is also an introduction to more advanced topics in Finance. These topics are covered in subsequent classes in The College of Business. This course will give you an overview of these topics and set the stage for later course
