This exam will consist of 30 multiple choice questions, worth 60%, and two problems, worth 40%. The two problems will be similar to the types of problems found on the suggested text problems. One will be from the topics in chapter 3 and one from those in chapter 4. The distribution of multiple- choice questions will be as follows: 6 from chapter 1; 8 each from chapters 2, 3 and 4. In studying for the exam, several key resources should be used: 1 Know all terms and concepts that you find summarized in the textbook summary of each chapter. Bold-faced items often make ideal sources for questions. 2 Be able to do all of the end-of-chapter problems suggested within the notesheets. I will often use the simpler of these for questions and some of the others as models or sources for the problems. 3 Use the textbook’s online Blackboard resources. Some chapters have Reaction Drills and all have Practice Problems

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
