Both companies just came to terms with other software groups, Nokia with Microsoft while Motorola with Wind River Systems. The new agreement between Nokia and Microsoft is to “make it easy for content owners and service providers to deliver ‘any type of digital content in a flexible manner’” (Taylor, 2007). Motorola’s agreement with Wind River Systems is to “deliver bundled hardware and software solutions for next-generation networking designs for the telecom, military and aerospace, medical and industrial automation industries” (Taylor, 2007)....
