1.What would you consider the three most important facts about the Opium Wars? List them in order of importance. Why they are important?1. One important fact about the Opium Wars is that they began when the Chinese took a stand against the drug that was taking over their country’s people. They eradicated the trade of opium from the British. The Chinese were doing something honorable- at least in my eyes. They were trying to save their people and their country. Although this started something long and horrible, I really respect them for that.2. A lot of deaths during the Opium wars came about because of actions taken by the Chinese. Its important because although the British did some great damage to china, China did a lot of damage to itself.3. Another important fact about the Opium Wars is that it weakened China to the point that two rebellions within China were able to take place. China was broken and so rebellions broke out, taking china down even further.
