Agent Orange was an herbicide developed by the United States Military to help fight the in the Vietnam War. It was manufactured by certain companies such as Dow, Monsanto, Diamond Shamrock Corporation, Hercules Inc., Uniroyal Inc., T-H Agricultural & Nutrition Company, and Thompson Chemicals Corporation. The purpose of Agent Orange was to kill the thick jungle life in Southern Asia. Destroying the thick jungle life prevented the concealment of enemy soldiers and also kept U.S. soldiers safe from enemy ambush. This destruction of jungle life also allowed U.S. troops to navigate through southern Asia quicker and easier making every movement more efficient....
