Darnay Bynum Olaudah Equiano Olaudah Equiano born March 1745. Known in his lifetime as Gustavo’s vasa, Olaudah equiano wrote the interesting narratives of the life of olaudah equiano he wrote it about his own life and his own struggles, also was his own author. He talks about when he was first kidnapped and how he didn’t speak any English what so ever then. Olaudahs painter was an African servant named Richard COSWAY. To me olaudah was a very powerful person because he wrote from a European perspective. He was very educated and very political, equiano was a man who was born into the IBO people, also grew up in a slave owning family. He wrote his own narrative for the public and the Europeans so they could understand everything he went through as a slave. He wrote this book to basically reach out to English leaders such as parliament, prime minister, the king of England and church leaders. Also to persuade and educate his readers and audience.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
