Colton Birney 1A Phelps This novel “The Things They Carried” is about a Man serving in the military and his stories. This story is about war and the stresses and harmful things that take place in war. War is inevitable because as a nation other countries will eventually start fighting and start a war with each other. AS humans we don’t like to be underpowered so as a nation you want a strong military. War is inimitable because other countries are always fighting in the middle east over seas. Just look at Israel the day they became a country they where assaulted by surrounding countries. Why did our forefathers move from Brittan to the USA. Just to end up fighting British “Red Coates” agents the 13 colonies. Even sent then the USA has had its share of wars and battles. War is inebital! The United States has been in war about 93% of the time scents 222 out of 239 years. The peacetime years are about 21years. War is going to happen if there are more the two groups of people living close by, unless they are alleys. page 126 “The
