Sal and Dean continue their journey across America in On the Road, Part 4. They travel to cities like San Francisco, Chicago, and New York. They interact with a range of characters, including Lawrence Ferlinghetti, a Beat poet, and jazz musician Slim Gaillard. They also experience a lot of experiences, such as being turned away from a motel and becoming lost in the desert. A new character named Dean Moriarty is introduced to the reader in On the Road, Part 4. Dean is a youthful, untamed man who epitomises the Beat Generation's spirit of independence. He has a criminal record and has committed a number of robberies. Dean is a likeable person who is always up for a good time, despite his criminal past. In addition, he is a highly skilled driver, which is helpful when he and Sal travel in search of excitement. I don't like how the characters in this part of the story are always moving around and never seem to stay in one spot for very long. As a result, it is challenging to understand the characters and follow the plot. The writing was also quite choppy and challenging for me to follow. I anticipate that this section will result in or influence the final result in the following ways: Sal and Dean's characters as well as their relationship with one another will continue to evolve as a result of the events in Part 4. More information about their pasts and how they became the people they are now will be revealed. The occurrences in this section will also help advance the story's storyline and move the characters closer to the novel's climax. Some of the messages presented in this area, in my opinion, are relevant to contemporary life. I believe that the characters' feelings of rootedlessness and isolation, as well as their need for connection and belonging, can be related to by some people in contemporary life.
