Unformatted text preview: Zi Shun Chen response 10 Behavioral Psychology Most human behavior is irrefutably a mixture of operant and classical conditioning. A behavior can be transformed from operant to instinctive through repetition. In military, its not enough to train a soldier with non-response imaginary enemy because the stimulus he faces now is very different from what he would be encountering later. Furthermore, the immediate feedback from performing such task does not reward or punish him. the training process aims to develop a physical response without involving the process of thinking. Human has a nature of not killing the same species as well as other animals have. Its a strong resistance of developing such mere physical behavior. To avoid or overcome this resistance, military tires to provide an environment that is as similar to the reality as possible. Soldiers exposed to such environment repeat the tasks similar to the reality as possible....
