As a leader, Iunderstand that failure is inevitable and it is a temporal occurrence that gives a person a clearcomprehension of a path not to take in future.CaringLeaders should care about the organization mission as well as for those whom they lead.To show that I care for my followers, I often maintain eye contact when discussing importantissues that might affects the overall well-being of the organization and employee productivity.Besides, I often take into consideration the opinions and feedback of my followers. I alsocompliment individuals in both private and public settings and also express concern in the livesof my followers.Effective communicator and ListenerAs a leader, I comprehend that communication is not basically for conversion purposes.On the contrary, communication aims to ensure that the message is clear and understood.Therefore, as a leader, I know the importance of listening more before talking. Likewise, as aleader, I understand that there is knowledge in power and it is important to ensure that allemployees from the top to the bottom of the organization hierarchy are provided with up-to-dateand complete information regarding the failures, successes, performance, and goals of theorganization. To facilitate this, I often ensure that in my department, there are two-waycommunication channels where manager and employees can exchange ideas and get feedback.
