Manipulating the DB To Delete a Variable or a Record – position the cursor in the shaded area to the left of the record or the shaded area with the variable name, click once to highlight the row or column and click the Delete Key – can also use Edit and Clear from the toolbar. To Insert a Record between existing records move the cursor to the record immediately below where you want to insert – Click Data on the toolbar and then Insert Case.

Manipulating the DB To Insert a Variable – position the cursor in a cell in the column to the right of where you want the new variable inserted. Click on Data and choose insert variable – an empty column will appear and you will need to define the new variable as well. To Move an Existing Variable – First create a new empty variable column (see above) then click once on the variable column you are moving – click Edit and choose Cut – then move cursor to new empty column and click Edit and choose Paste
