Kevin Yoder 03/06/08 Midterm Questions 2/6 In today’s workplace sexual harassment is always a hot topic and will continue to be. Until employers & employee’s can recognize and communicate to what sexual harassment is? An important part of communicating this is to have a sexual harassment policy in place. This Policy will provide managers, and supervisors with the legal principles that define sexual harassment in the workplace. With these guidelines, you will be able to recognize sexual harassment more easily and clearly. The importantance of this policy is to provide specific information. So when managers and supervisors are confronted with such acts that could be construed as sexual harassment. They now the correct course of action to be taken. The fist step is to explain what sexual harassment is and what is consists of. Although a familiar term, sexual harassment is not always easy to define.
