Comm Exam Review April 29, 2008 Ask lots of questions if confused during the exam What are you going to see on that day: The exam itself A section for extra credit Quiz 3 (don’t have to study separately) (will be accessed separately… open note/open book) Content: everything from the first exam forward (15 chapters from text) :the only chapter that’s on this exam that was covered before exam 1 is CHAPTER 19 (because it was not covered in the last exam) Parts of the davinci cold Videos on walmart Random tv viewing (application of tv to whatever we were talking about) The article from last class about male dieting and speech codes etc The essay will be similar to our class activity with the male dieting article… Applying different theories to a particular article Sex roles inventory overall purpose of having an inventory like that, what it teaches us about masculine and feminine communication Multiple choice, check all that apply, (possible t/f) essay 70-80% objective questions 20-30% essay If study effectively for the objective response part of the exam, should be fine for writing the essay… it’s all stuff that we talked about in class Walmart videos corporate comm., persuasion, etc (periph and central cues) What happens when an internal culture impacts the public communication Whats going on on the shelves at walmart, and whats going on with all of our
