Howard 1 Hunter Howard Dr. Westberry English 2327 March 4, 2008 The Strength of a Family I have been so busy with baseball that I did not have the time to actually go out to an event, so I decided to watch the movie “The Patriot”. I picked this movie because of its ability to keep me interested and thinking I am right there apart of the action. I love this movie not just because I am a guy and it is a lot of battle scenes and killing, but because of the family fire that is extracted. I was born into a very close family and care a lot for each and every one of them, so I know how it is to think very highly of the word family. This movie is being taken place in mainly South Carolina during the American Revolution. The movie follows Benjamin Martin, Mel Gibson, and his family as that fight through the war. Ben is forced into the war when the British threaten his family and kill his son Thomas for no apparent reason but to kill. After the death of his son has taken place the fury is built inside of Ben and he wants revenge. This drives him to enter the
