Mini Project 12Plan of CorrectionA Plan of Correction is the response to survey findings that have been cited on CMS-2567, that are either for non-compliance, deficient practices, or errors that have been observedand can negatively impact facility residents. Administrators as well as other members of theInterdisciplinary team (IDT) must be able to identify these statements of deficiencies thatidentify less than the minimum standards of care and correct those deficiencies for the facility tobe within federal and state regulations. Facilities who receive statements of deficiencies have 10days to identify, address, correct, and put into place systems that will ensure those deficientpractices will not recur.
