CCCH9016 Hong Kong: Becoming a Chinese global city Guidelines for Reflective Essay (Due 12pm, Dec 6) Expectations Students are expected to critically reflect upon how the knowledge acquired in this course helps them (or not) understand their personal, everyday experience of growing up/ living/ studying/ consuming etc. in Hong Kong; affirms, qualifies, or challenges some of their perceptions, preconceptions, understandings, and/or assumptions about Hong Kong as a Chinese global city. Students may want to focus on a specific question, subject matter of concern or course topic. Students can also incorporate their experience in the field-trip/research project into their reflection. For students who have submitted short reflections as a make-up for their absence in guest lectures, they are expected to discuss a specific question/ subject matter of concern/ topic that is different from, or has minimal overlap with what they discussed in those short reflections. Assessment The reflective essay will be assessed on an individual basis. It takes up 20% of the coursework assessment.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
