It provides an excellent opportunity to consolidate the learning in the chapterand to further develop students’ inquiry skills. Investigate & Apply tasks give studentsthe opportunity to apply concepts in less obvious situations. Other previouslylearned concepts are frequently combined with the new topics of the chapter. Thenew skills may be used in extended situations. The Investigate & Apply sectionsaccentuate the big ideas of each chapter in real-world applications. The problems areopen-ended and each one is supported by a sample solution and four-level rubric
