Our world has been developed and well-grown in many aspects of life, technology, education, economy, etc. Human do not only care about their living conditions, but also their inner life, soul and inside person. Philosophy is one of the aspect that is needed to be took care of and it has been flourished by many famous philosophers, Martin Luther King, Jr. and Nietzsche are the two great example. They both had a voice and shaped the world’s philosophy by the Letter from Birmingham Jail written by Martin Luther King, Jr. and Beyond Good and Evil by Nietzsche. There are some points they do share in their work and some are different. In Beyond Good and Evil , Nietzsche presents many views, ideas. The book has 296 aphorisms, divided into nine different chapters. These views are composed and concluded by Nietzsche’s mature philosophy, or his own perspective. Nietzsche’s system of ethics consists of main morality issues in life, such as religion, society level, race, nationalism. For example, in saying about religion, Nietzsche shows his view in chapter 3 “What is Religious”. He held that people in modern age is atheistic, but still religious, still believe in God. He also asserts that religion has different meanings for each of us. An upper class has a different meaning when they practice religion, which is to self-discipline and be a good model. While a lower class, or for the masses, the purpose is to follow the upper class. Another aspect was mentioned by Nietzsche is the nationalities or nationalism.
