Historic examples of cultural revolutions would be the industrial revolution or the worldwars, they fundamentally changed the way people lived. A more recent cultural revolution hasbeen the digital revolution, with technology being engrained into every aspect of modern life.The acceptance and widespread use of digital computers and digital record-keeping signaled thebeginning of the digital revolution, which is the transition from mechanical and analogueelectronic technologies to digital electronics (Techopedia, 2017). I recently conducted twointerviews regarding how the digital revolution has impacted their culture. The peopleinterviewed were from different generations and provide insight into the effects of the digitalcultural revolution on their lives, how it has changed the way in which they interact with thecommunity around them, andif it led to improvements/challenges in their lives.
