Brandon McNair Bill Clem English 101.015 11 March 2008 “Addictive Entertainment” In our modern day world, teens and young adults demoralize the so called “fun activities.” What does it meant to the 18-25 year old age group to have a good time? What can a young adult do with his or her time that will not only satisfy their desires to experiment but also cause a mind altering experience without having to leave their room, let alone the city or state one lives in? The obvious answer to that are drugs; although drugs can seem entertaining at first, complications from addiction can hinder one’s life. What exactly do I mean when I say drugs one might ask? It can be prescription drugs that your mom is taking for her arthritis or a concoction made up of several over the counter medications. A more adverse type of drug can be purchased illegally on the streets from a “street pharmacist.” Illegal drugs can be more pernicious and more addicting than the others and are abused more for the preliminary high.
