2IntroductionA person’s personality is their pervasive set of beliefs, emotions, and attitudes, as well as thepsychological processes that underpin those traits (11.1 What Is Personality? - Psychology 2e |OpenStax, n.d.). Each human comes with their unique set of traits and personalities. However,our perceptions of ourselves are just one part of who we truly are. There are many consciousand unconscious biases that we may hold towards ourselves. Knowing our blind spots can helpin the raising self-awareness, improving teamwork, making conflict more productive, developstronger sales skills, efficient management skills, and training without judgement (What Is theDISC Assessment? n.d.). This thereby allows us to be more understanding towards ourselves andothers. And the Indigo Assessment aids us in doing just that by providing deep insights intothree different categories: behaviours, skills, motivators, and social-emotional perceptions. Ituses the DISC system which stands for dominance, influence, steadiness, and conscientiousness.All individuals possess the four personality traits measured by the DISC model, the extent towhich they present makes the difference. An individual’s personality prefers to stay the waythey are most often (Kowalski, 2019).The report will likewise give understanding into my personality traits, how to use thesetraits to accomplish objectives, and how to make a move to work on my weaker capabilities,which I can use to improve myself
3DISC Style [Part 1]People engage in a wide range of behaviours in their daily lives, yet close inspection ofthose actions reveals discernible patterns called personality traits (McShane, 2021). DISC styleevaluates the person’s interpersonal behaviour based on four personality types: Dominance,Influence, Steadiness, and Compliance; everyone is a combination of these traits. Dominancepersonalities tend to exude confidence and prioritize achieving tangible achievementsfrequently. Relationships and influencing or persuading others are essential to those with Ipersonalities who are more outgoing and friendly. However, people with steady charactersusually focus on collaboration and honesty and are also known to be dependable. Alongside that, I am not only futuristicand entrepreneurial, but also a strong believer of efficiency and results. Contrary to that, myscore is the least for the compliant trait, which goes on to point out my systematic andinstinctive shortcomings. According to the assessment, an individual with an average D, high I,high S, and low C score must work in a stable place with clear expectations and results. It mustbe a job free off rules and micromanaging and an abundance of people. These individuals muchlike myself, tend to exhibit loyal, patient, and understanding traits along with having a talkative,social, and enthusiastic nature.
