John Kontogiannis Susan Mosher Eng 99-03 6 Feb. 2007 The movie Remember the Titans has many Glean Management lessons throughout the movie. The Glean management lessons that I chose are communication, leadership, diversity, motivating people, ethics, and management functions. The lessons that I chose are also a few that I was able to relate in my experiences in life. Scene One: Coach Boone conducts his first team meeting until the white players and Coach Yost interrupt it. Where: Beginning of the movie, 10 minutes into the movie. Lesson Learned: During this seen Coach Boone talks about what is expected of the players in the upcoming football season and information about the upcoming football camp at Gettysburg College. The communication to his players is key because by communication to the players they know exactly what is expected of them at all times. Although it was very unethical of the white players disrupting the meeting along with Coach Yost as well as disrespectful but in the very next seen Coach Yost resolves the problems with Coach Boone.
