ECO – 201 Supply Shock When living in Denver, Colorado there are many areas in which an extreme sports enthusiast can hit the slopes. So one would think it is a very good market to have a warm weather clothes shop. However, when having a shop the supply of winter clothes should be ordered to be delivered fashionably early. When the warm weather winter clothes and jackets do not sell because of inclement weather last and warm weather this year then you may just want to call it bad luck. However last winter “Wicked winter storms closed the park meadow mall here two painfully long days before Christmas last year. Meanwhile until cooler weather settled in this week, temperature in the 60s and 70s this fall had consumers in this fitness – minded Denver suburb hiking and biking not shopping for winter wear. Weather can sure put a damper on retail” (O’Donnell, 2007). For example if no consumers purchase the cold weather clothing it would incredibly difficult to sell everything at full price mid way through winter it is a tough decision. “Consumers are notorious
