Assignment Two- Part A: MIRROR TALK I exist within several layers of system. When I think of the system immediately around me, I think of Cornel University. Certainly, I exist within the system that is my own life. My room is a system. So is my head and body. Still, the base level is Cornell University. Like all systems, the System of Cornell University must have properties. These are elements, attributes, and relationships. Some elements are the students, faculty and staff. Buildings are also a crucial element. So is the curriculum as well as the governing bodies of the University. The alumni also form a crucial component of the system. The attributes of the system are how many students, how much tuition is, how large the endowment is, the type of students that occupy Cornell’s classrooms. Another attribute would be the weather. Various relationships exist at Cornell. Some are between students and fellow students. These can be as friends, or as sexual partners. Some are between students and the faculty. These too can be as friends or mentors or
